About
Find your balance with more good days ahead
We all do our best to keep a reasonable balance of good and bad days. But sometimes that balance can shift, leaving you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. This can especially happen if you have grown up in a culturally diverse family, been subjected to gambling harm or exposed to adverse childhood experiences.
At More Good Days Therapy, we believe everyone can find their way to a balance with the right support.
You can expect a safe space grounded in culturally affirming and trauma-informed care, so you can connect with yourself and move towards more good days.
Areas of support
Problem gambling: gambling harm to individuals, partners and family members
Adverse childhood experiences: adult attachment styles, neglect and complex trauma
Mental health: social anxiety and depression

Hi, I'm Lisa
Hi, I’m Lisa, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the founder of More Good Days Therapy. I was born in Australia to Chinese-Vietnamese immigrant parents and I have spent most of my life living, studying, and working in South West and Western Sydney.
Many of the people I work with come from culturally diverse backgrounds and I am passionate about creating a space where you don’t have to explain your culture, minimise your experiences, or justify how you feel.
I have over four years working as a Counsellor in charity, community and not for profit settings. Additionally I have four years experience working as a Crisis Supporter at Lifeline. I take an integrative approach to therapy where I draw upon multiple modalities to provide you with tailored support. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are and be met with understanding, care and respect.
